AbouttheCommittee
At the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29), the youth of Central Asia and the Turkic countries developed a number of recommendations to ensure the active participation of young people in environmental issues. These recommendations were reflected in the “International Strategy for Promoting a Culture of Sustainable Development and Engaging Children and Youth in the Climate Agenda”. This strategy was signed by the Central Asian and Turkic countries during COP 29. In response to the proposals and initiatives of the participants, the “International Youth Environmental Committee” was established.
The main goal of our committee is to develop effective regional cooperation of young people on environmental issues, exchange information and organize joint projects.
